Craig Scott and Ste Roberts Brave the Soaking for Cancer Research UK at Annual Staff Sponging Event

Recently, Craig Scott and Ste Roberts took one for the team as they braved being soaked for a good cause at the annual Staff Sponging event. The event was a fun-filled day that raised over £300 to help fight cancer.

Ste Roberts from Technical Support and Welding Tutor Craig Scott volunteered to be the targets of the sponging booth. Staff and students gathered to take aim and throw sponges at the duo, who were good sports and laughed through the whole experience.

The event was hugely successful, with a fantastic turnout and generous donations. The total amount raised, over £300, will be donated to Cancer Research UK, a leading charity dedicated to finding cures and treatments for various types of cancer.
