Riverside Students Improve their Talents
Students at Riverside College have worked on identifying their talents and creativity at a ‘WOW’ workshop with Wellbeing Enterprises.
Students were invited from Get Up and Go Maths, Ologies, Childcare and Health and Social care courses to take part in the activities aimed to rediscover their talents and encourage creativity and positivity to enable them to aim high and achieve their best at College.
Oli Gomersall, Helen Trahar and Jen Covell from Wellbeing Enterprises spent the morning with the students working through different ways to help with confidence and wellbeing.
Oli said, “We like to work with students as we recognise the importance of a positive mental attitude in educational settings. The students retain information better when they are in a positive frame of mind.”
Chelsey Murdoch, Riverside College Tutor said, “The students who took part in the workshop thought it was a really positive event which really helped with confidence. We are looking forward to working with Wellbeing Enterprises again in the future.”
