Riverside College students present cheque to Halton Haven

Riverside College Engineering and Motor Vehicle students present cheque charity fundraising Halton Haven college covers Widnes Runcorn Warrington Liverpool St Helens Knowsley — Students present the cheque to Paula Widdas from Halton Haven

On Thursday 25^th May student representatives from Engineering and Motor Vehicle at Riverside College presented a cheque for £500 to Paula Widdas the Head of Fundraising at Halton Haven during a presentation evening at Riverside College.

Paula said, “We have to raise 1.2 million each year and its people like the students from Riverside College who help us achieve our goal. We realise how much planning is involved in organising these fundraising events and really appreciate the support.”

The students, who had completed a charity bike ride from Liverpool to Leeds had selected the charities themselves and further £250 was donated to the Rock of Joy Trust in Uganda.
