Remarkable Catering Students Honoured with Competence to Excellence Award
Five Level 3 Catering students at Riverside College are celebrating after receiving Competence to Excellence certificates. The award recognises the outstanding achievements of exceptional students who have shown a high standard throughout their studies.
Liam Doyle, Kayleigh Owen, Jack Turner, Olivia Foulkes and John Ellis all received the award after displaying outstanding dedication, enthusiasm and skill during their vocational training at Riverside, often going above and beyond the course requirements.
Runcorn resident John Ellis said “receiving the award is a great achievement for me, having my hard work recognised is fantastic. It is evidence of personal achievement in passing a very hard course with professional pride.”
Olivia Foulkes, from Runcorn, said “the award is a great addition on my C.V. and will hopefully give me employability attributes that can help with finding work”
Head of School, Diane White, said “we feel it is important to recognise the commitment and hard work our students have demonstrated during their time at Riverside.
“We hope this will encourage progressing students to work hard and aim high so they may also receive the Competence to Excellence certificate next year.”
