National Apprenticeship Week 2016: Day 1 – Getrag

To Celebrate National Apprenticeship Week 2016, Riverside College will be releasing a series of videos over the week, including interviews with high profile employers and their apprentices.

We start things off with Getrag Ford Transmissions. Simon Smith, Maintenance Manager, and Alan Seeley, Human Resources Manager, discuss the importance of apprenticeships to the company.

In the second of our Getrag Ford Transmissions video series, apprentice Bradley Stead discusses winning the ‘Apprentice of the Year’ award at the company.

In the third of our Getrag Ford Transmissions video series, apprentice Bradley Stead discusses the progression he has made during his time with the company since we visited him 12 months ago, and his goals for the future.

In the fourth of our Getrag video series, staff provide an insight to what they look for in apprentice application forms and tips for future applicants. We also hear advice from Getrag ‘Apprentice of the Year’ Bradley Stead.

In the fifth of our Getrag video series, Maintenance Manager Simon Smith and Human Resources Manager Alan Seeley discuss working with Riverside College and how the relationship has helped them to recruit fantastic apprentices.
