At Riverside College we offer two pathways for the Foundation Degree in Counselling. After successfully completing Level 3 students could progress onto study a Foundation Degree in Adult or Children and Young People counselling and then could complete a BSc (Hons) Counselling at Riverside College.
Successful graduates will be equipped to gain employment as professional counsellors in this growing industry or may also wish to set up their own professional counselling practice.

The Foundation Degree in Counselling Children and Young People is an innovative programme that provides education and training for working therapeutically with children and young people from early years to young adulthood using a variety of therapeutic approaches.
BSc (Hons) Counselling Children and Young People (Top Up)

Days/Evenings per week: 1 day (or 2 Evenings)
Graduates will be equipped to gain employment as a specialist professional counsellor in this growing industry. Successful graduates may also wish to set up their own professional counselling practice offering a more specialist service.
