What is this course about?
This is a one year programme designed for adult students aged 20+ who need to build up their English and maths GCSE profile in order to gain entry on to their chosen Access pathway.
What will I learn on this course?
You can study GCSEs in English and maths. We will advise you of which GCSEs you need to study, depending on any GCSEs, at grade C or Level 4 and above, you already hold and your chosen Access pathway. This course is a programme of study skills, such as research and essay writing skills with level 2 Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care Professions which includes units on research and study skills to prepare you for the level of academic study you will undertake on your Level 3 Access course. You will also be supported to research the right university and degree for you and encouraged to undertake relevant work experience to build up your personal statement.
