What is this course about?
Look at the types of substances that are misused, recognise the symptoms of substance misuse and its effects on the individual and society. An NCFE Award in Substance Misuse Awareness can be achieved.
What will I learn on this course?
What substances are commonly misused and why, factors that make people more susceptible to substance misuse, signs and symptoms of substance misuse, the effects substance misuse has on individuals and society and the effects media reporting affects peoples perceptions of substance use.
