Award in Lash & Brow Techniques

What is this course about?
This course has been specifically designed to develop your professional practical skills in shaping, defining and colouring brows. Although not part of the qualification you will also be introduced to lash lifting as a college certificate. You will also learn about lash extensions.

Entry Requirements:
Working at Entry level 3 in English on our college assessments or minimum GCSE grade E/2 or equivalent Entry Level 3 English qualification.

*Please note: You may be required to attend an assessment day/evening if you are selected by the awarding body, external verifier – failure to attend could lead to your certificate being withheld until you are seen be the external verifier

What will I learn on this course?

• Client consultation

• Shaping and defining eyebrow shapes using different techniques
• Tinting and colouring eyebrows

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed throughout your course by practical observation and your theoretical understanding will be assessed through the completion of an assignments or tests. You will be required to complete a portfolio of evidence which must include photographic evidence.

Are there any costs associated with this course?
The course requires a small kit (costs for the kit to be confirmed) and a tunic top (approximately £25.00) plus postage and packing). Costs are subject to change.  You must also wear full length black trousers and a full black shoe. You will have to provide files etc. for your course work and photographic evidence is required for practical assessments.
