What is this course about?
This is a natural progression route for students who have already completed the Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification. On the course you will organise events and learn how to sell products and services. The units include treatments such as facial and body electrical treatments, microdermabrasion, body massage and stone therapy massage. Classes will consist of both 16-18 and adult students.

Entry Requirements:
Completion of Level 2 in Beauty, plus working at Level 2 in English on our college assessment or a minimum GCSE grade C/4 or Level 2 qualification in English. You will also have a college admissions interview.

How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed by on-going practical assessments throughout the programme, tests may be required to complete units and check knowledge, also you will have to complete projects and produce a portfolio of your work.

Are there any costs associated with this course?
Kit £40.00 Tunic £25.00 (TBC) You must also wear full length black trousers and a full black shoe. You will have to provide files etc. for your course work and photographic evidence is required for practical assessments.
**You may be eligible to access financial support to help with the cost of your kit and tunic.
Facilities:
At the Centre of Excellence for Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy we have recently refurbished contemporary facilities, including four hairdressing salons, two beauty salons, and two media make up studios. This provides students with the opportunity to run their own salons and showcase their skills to the public.
