Colleges Combine for Children in Need
Riverside College and Cronton Sixth Form joined forces on Friday 15th November to take part in a number of exciting fundraising activities to raise money for BBC Children in Need.
Over the course of the day both College’s took part in a number of entertaining fundraising activities, from leg waxing and talent contests to virtual duck racing and face painting. Staff and students also had the opportunity to show off their baking skills in a Pudsey Bear bake sale that took place across both campuses. In total, a brilliant £677 was raised for the cause, with donations still coming in.
Natalie Patten, College CHEER Co-ordinator said, “First of all, thank you to everyone who donated and participated in our fundraisers, it has been an amazing day and to raise £677 for such a good cause is incredible. I am so proud of what both colleges have achieved this year!”
