Riverside College Apprentice climbs the career ladder.  

Jade Watts a Riverside College Apprentice achieves career success through hard work and determination, supported by Riverside College.

A L2 Business and Administration Apprenticeship provided Jade with the qualifications to support her in a working environment where she confidently demonstrated new skills progressing to Level 3 Business and Administration.  Working as an employee at Riverside College in the Skills and Enterprise Department Jade made a positive contribution to the team and her proactive approach was recognised by Prime Industries who offered her a position within their company.

Prime Industries provided the opportunity to continue with professional development, supporting the completion of a HNC Business and Management qualification delivered by Riverside College.  Jade says “The tutors at Riverside College have been supportive and helpful and the courses have not only provided me with general business knowledge but also specialist skills appertaining to accounts and finance, equipping me with the necessary skills and qualifications to undertake my role at Prime Industries.”

Riverside College’s support combined with Jade’s enthusiasm has formed a prosperous partnership.  Jade began with Prime Industries in February 2012 and to date is undertaking an Office Supervisor/Customer Relations role securing a bright future with a growing company.

Riverside College offers Apprenticeships in Business and Administration levels 2 and 3, Customer Service levels 2 and 3, Management levels 2 and 3, as well as delivering Training in First Aid including Defibrillator training, Safe Guarding, Health and Safety, Manual Handling, Food Hygiene and many more.
