Governor Vacancy at Riverside College

Are you interested in supporting Riverside College and Cronton Sixth Form College?

We are looking to appoint a governor who can bring a variety of skills, experience and knowledge. In particular, we are keen to hear from individuals who have experience in audit and financial matters. As a member of the Audit Committee you would be involved in advising the Board on the adequacy and effectiveness of the colleges systems of internal control and its arrangements for risk management, control and governance processes, together with securing economy, efficiency and effectiveness.

You should be willing to attend Board meetings and committee meetings, as well as keeping up to date with the work of the colleges. Governors give a time commitment of approximately six hours per month. No formal qualifications are necessary, just an enthusiasm to work in a voluntary capacity alongside others, helping to ensure that the colleges continue to meet the needs of its community.
