Duration: 11 weeks | Start Date: September
Details: Monday, 6pm – 8pm (TBC 2025)
Course Information:
Learning a foreign language can make a trip to another country more rewarding.
Even having a basic knowledge can make a difference; most people abroad appreciate if you do make an effort to speak their language and you feel more comfortable if you have some awareness of the language which surrounds you.
In learning a new language, you also find out about other cultures as well as understanding more about your own language! Knowledge of a foreign language can lead to improved job prospects and can enhance applications when applying for Higher Education.
Children in primary schools are now learning foreign languages and research has revealed that this step has at the same time contributed significantly to improved thinking skills. Parents and grandparents may, therefore, choose to learn a foreign language not only to keep up with or stay ahead of their children but also to keep their own brains active!
