High Sheriff’s Award for Talented Brickwork Student
Brickwork student and Harry Fairclough Construction Ltd apprentice Jordan Ireland is celebrating after winning the ‘Best Apprentice’ category at The High Sheriff’s Awards for Enterprise 2017/18, Cheshire’s most prestigious Awards for business performance.
This is the latest in a series of fantastic accolades for Jordan during his time at Riverside after picking up a gold medal at both the SkillBuild North West Bricklaying Competition and the Guild of Bricklayers North West Competition.
Jordan has also represented Riverside College on a national scale; entering the Guild of Bricklayers Competition Final in which Jordan was awarded a bronze medal. Jordan also represented the college at the SkillBuild UK national finals which was held at the NEC Arena in Birmingham, competing against tough competition from some of the best bricklayers across the country.

To win another major award is outstanding and we predict a very bright future for Jordan.”
